Elvire Meier-Comte, Dr. / Head of Talent & Executive Management | Airbus Defence and Space

Elvire Meier-Comte is Vice President and Head of Talent and Executive Management at Airbus Defence and Space since January 2017. Prior to this position she used to work for 17 years at Siemens in various businesses (Information and communication, transportation, healthcare) and countries (USA, Europe, Asia). During her last role at Siemens she participated to the set-up of the digitalization office to support the digital transformation, balancing the technical challenges with the people and behavioural aspect of change. As grounder and Leader of a the largest network of women in Sciences at Siemens, she experimented the use of communities and engagement to drive the change from the bottom and have a sustainable impact for higher company performance, positioning talented women as pioneer in addressing this topic. Elvire is now supporting the digital transformation at Airbus with the Executive and Talents populations using both top-down and bottom-up approaches. She supports the development of value-based Leadership, authenticity and empowerment as people foundation to deal in the VUCA world. She is also Ambassador of the Airbus Diversity network Balance4Business and continue to connect and coach innovative Women, bringing together and connecting their representatives from Large Organizations, Start-ups, Universities or Research Centers to creatively shape and influence organizations and societies.
